Picture
We know that human resource departments are facing an unparalleled human resource challenge. In a recovering pandemic landscape, the need for companies to support their employees is greater than ever.
  • 76% of employed US adults are experiencing worker burnout (Human Resources Executive)
  • “Organizations need to reimagine the workforce to be resilient.” (Gartner)
From webinars to workshops, user training to management level programs, Learning to LEAD provides a standard course catalog as well as custom solutions.

Learning to LEAD Provides Resources for Employees

From resilience training to soft skills training for employees, we provide:
  • Live training groups
  • Group workshops
  • Individual toolboxes
  • Self-paced videos
  • eBooks
  • Seminars
Our mission is to meet the human resource challenge and help first responders and cybersecurity professionals armor themselves to handle the cumulative stress load of their professions and reach personal work-life satisfaction.

Group Workshops

We provide services for high stress professionals through live training groups and group workshops. Using group workshops, we get to lean on the experience of everyone in the room. Everyone gets to share best practices and integrate the teaching material into what's going to work for them.
Group Workshop Framework:
  • Starts with a group activity or exercise that highlights the problem the workshop is addressing
  • Next, the workshop explores and teaches a relevant concept
  • Tools that can help with that challenge are introduced and practiced
  • Capstone application activity to practice what we just learned

Building Boundaries for Better Balance

Are you feeling resentful and struggling to set and maintain boundaries? Are you unsure what boundaries even are? Boundaries are limits we set that protect our time, energy, resources, and our ability to show up with bravery and authenticity. In this webinar, we will explore what boundaries are and how to set them both personally and professionally.

Adapt to Perform

Adaptability is a tolerance for chaos; the ability to handle adversity and change in the midst of uncertainty and changing circumstances. Learn to build and maintain adaptability by tethering to the big picture, avoiding failure and perfectionism traps, and implementing performance plans for when everything is going wrong.

Dealing with Acute and Chronic Stress

There are different types of stressors, and different ways we experience stress. We need the right tool for what we are experiencing any given day. In this webinar, you'll learn strategies to address acute stress in the moment and strategies for managing controllable (and uncontrollable) chronic stressors.

The Stress Dashboard

Our bodies don't come with an owner’s manual or indicator lights like our cars do, but we can learn to listen to our bodies and take better care of ourselves before we burn out.

Incorporating Recovery Into Your (Work) Day

Managing our stress is a vital resilience tool, especially in these times. In this webinar, you will learn how to recognize your personal indicators of growing stress, discover how you can deliver micro-doses of self-care throughout your day, and create an early intervention plan to inoculate the negative impact of stress.

I'm Burning Out! What Can I Do?

Too many job demands, too few job resources and poor recovery habits lead to disengagement and burnout. Identify factors on your teams that contribute to burning out. Recognize signs and indicators that someone is burning out and how to help them buffer against it.

Courses for Managers

Recommended for managers and organizations, any of these offerings can be adapted and customized for your specific human resource challenge.

Incorporating Self-Care into your Work Culture

We need to be deliberate about self-care to replenish physical, mental and emotional energy. Learn how to promote a culture of self-care on your team by examining what’s rewarded and promoting vulnerability and accountability.

Promoting Healthy Boundaries at Work

Are you feeling you or someone on your team feels pressure to always be available or to push past limits to get the job done? Are you struggling to set and maintain boundaries? Do you want to encourage your team to set better boundaries? Boundaries are limits we set that protect our time, energy and resources. Learn what boundaries are, how to set and model healthy boundaries in the workplace, and how to encourage your team to set and respect.

Recognizing Burnout In Your Team, and What to Do About It

Too many job demands, too few job resources and poor recovery habits lead to disengagement and burnout. Identify factors on your teams that contribute to burning out. Recognize signs and indicators that someone is burning out and how to help them buffer against it.

Adapt to Perform: Promoting Adaptability on Your Team

Adaptability is a tolerance for chaos; the ability to handle adversity and change in the midst of uncertainty and changing circumstances. Promote adaptability in your team by prioritizing predictability and flexibility, maintaining a big picture focus, and combating perfectionism traps.

Creating Psychological Safety In Your Team

Psychological safety promotes belonging.  The knowledge that you can be yourself, take good risks, respectfully disagree without feeling embarrassed or singled out lets you know you are a valued member of that team, and you belong there.  This knowledge protects against stress and burnout and increases high performance and productivity on teams.

Walking the Tightrope of Work-Life Balance: Manager's Edition

Work life balance or harmony can feel like an elusive myth, and yet it’s still something we all long for. We want work to be challenging and energizing, and we want our home life to be fulfilling as well. We don’t want our home lives to be limited to recovering from work. This is especially challenging for managers, who have to take care of themselves, support their team, and hold their team accountable.

Client Testimonial

"I would recommend Kaitlyn's training for any organization. She is able to deliver simple, engaging and effective training for groups of varying sizes both in person and virtually. Topics such as stress management and energy focus can be challenging, but she's able to teach actionable and tangible skills that are easy to implement in your day to day life. ”
